"So, what is this garbage about?"

Devil May Cry Overhaul is a mod that initially intended to put the best soundtracks of the good Devil May Cry games that fits nicely in Hatred in order to create an eerie atmosphere at early main campaign and a tense and more action (nothing over the top full of beats and all that ♥♥♥♥) atmosphere at late game, but it (not so) quickly became something more than a simple Soundtrack mod as it features now an entire new atmosphere, a character overhaul and a humble Devil Trigger mechanic (body armors got removed from the main-campaign in exchange of the Devil Trigger).

It does not only replaces the standard Hatred soundtracks in both Main campaign and survival, but it also adds some extra amount of soundtracks in certain missions and to the Survival mode, which features 8 background DMC sountracks now. Also, stages 1, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 will get an warm/wet orange aspect/orange-pink sky (orange/brown for stages 2.5/3.5 and 4) similar to the ones at early Devil May Cry 1 campaign. Stages 5, 6 and 7 will remain untouched in order to keep the default DMC style of featuring a night time at late campaign. The DMC musics I've chosen in the first version of the mod summed up with the new ambient lighting makes this game a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lot eerier and a bit uncomfortable at earlier stages.

Possible Questions:

"Y my progress has beem resetd?"

-Your progress hasn't been reseted, each TC has its own savefile, but you can "cheat" that..

"How do I xfer all my progress to the mod then?"

-To transfer your progress to this TC savefile, all you have to do is follow these steps...

Launch the game with the mod installed in order to create a savefile for the TC, then grab your main savefile (the biggest one) in: Steamapps/common/Hatred/Hatred/Saved/SaveGames.... Search for the biggest file (something like 5kb if you've everything complete), mine was a nameless one with a bunch of numbers. Make a copy of it. Replace your main savefile name with the TC's savefile name. Overwrite your TC savefile with your renamed main savefile.... ?????????? Profit!1!!!

Nope, you certainly played DMC 3 and DMC 4 (and possibly the reboot). At first, this mod was meant to be a DMC 1 based mod and Notim Portant would wear only red with similar colors as DMC 1 Dante, but I felt like using some DMC 3 soundtracks. So, most of the soundtracks you ain't recognizing are from Devil May Cry 1. You should play it because you are missing the best DMC game ever made.
