Description
WoTC version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1124219083

Increases how much flashbangs affect aim as well as makes people who are disoriented less accurate.

In vanilla disorienting someone only does -20 aim, with this mod it's doubled to -40 aim.

You can easily edit the flashbang options yourself if you go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\636901612\Config and edit XcomGameCore

Follow up to my own post, I looked through the LW2 config, and it has it set at -25, so I manually changed it to -40, but the first patch to LW2 will likely blow that away.

Anybody know if this will cause problems in LW2? It seems that the Flashbangs don't really affect the enemy that much in LW2, so I assume they are using vanilla settings, and so would like to use this in LW2

@CastleCard,
Can you upload this to nexus mods, great mod.

Is it possible to set that enemies flashbanged won't be able to crit?

@Dr. Krieger No, but some like the stun lancer can disorient you and cause the same effects as the flashbang.

Just a question, do any of the enemy vanilla units even use flashbangs?

I'm happy to hear your going to give it a shot. I'm not going to even pretened I know what I'm talking about when it comes to modding, but i do know that hunker down has a decreased sight radius. Perhaps taking part of that code and adding it to this will work.

@Memrek So far I've taught myself how to mod and that's only with simple .ini edits, so I'm not to sure how I'd do that. I'm sure I'd need to add some sort of new code in, but I think that's a good idea, and it'd be a fun project to try and work on. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

I've been waiting for something like this and have even commented on the fact that this needed a fix at this thread.

If lessening the sight radius of those effected by the flashbang could be implemented please try. If not, well then, what you've done so far will still help. It's just that, and I speek form experience, if you've been the recipient of a flashbang you can't see your own hand if waved in front of your face let alone fire with any kind of accuracy. Hell I lost all sence of direction, hence, disorent.

It always pissed me off when I would throw a flashbang to protect my uncovered guys and, instead of being comletely disoriented, like a flashbang does, they just shoot my guys in the face.
