Tragically though, by 2018, latin has become a dead language, since it was created all the way back in the 80s most people who spoke it, or had written records of the complete language have died of old age and the language has been lost to the ages.

Took like ten seconds to put "Terra Ultio" in google. For real.
Terra Ultio isn't really Latin if I am not mistaken. Ultio is a ship from Warhammer. It belongs to this dude who raises an army to march on "Terra" and overthrow this dick of an emperor. A very very abridged version. So one can imply that we as Xcom are overthrowing the alien emperor by raising an army to march on Terra in this instance being Earth.
