Description
Outdated design! Get the new DZ here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=845671296

I'll leave the old lady in the workshop for nostalgic purposes. ;)

---

5.11. Updated!
4.0 ready, better textures

6.7. Updated!
More shutter doors, more retexturing, added cargo boxes to hangar bay, some minor retouching

5.7.Updated!
Added Ramps and better Hangar doors. Made her a bit lighter and thinner around the hangar and the front door.

---

The DZ is rather small capital ship designed as an allrounder for exploration and support for planetside mining operations. It's like your home away from home when it's too dangerous or expensive to take your carrier with you.

If you like her, please give her a thumbs up for better visibility in the deep, dark depths of the workshop. Thank you! :)

features:
- industrial nostromo-inspired design
- secured entrance on the bottom of the ship
- all angles secured by sentry guns
- cannons for ground defense while landed
- left and right nacelles are empty and may serve as hangars or hydroponics, for example. You decide.
- landing pad on top for sv
- lots of passenger seats, two passenger compartments, "rumble seats" at the entrance for emergeny purposes
- small hv bay on the backside of the ship
- bay and pad accesible from the inside via airlocks
- advanced constructor
- medbay
- cockpit with good visibility
- lots of downthrust for high-g liftoffs
- kitchen above the entrance
- land on planets with style

Additional thoughts:
I've tried not to add too many thrusters and rcs to keep the price down and also let her handle like a big ship. If she's too slow or sluggish for you, just add some more of each - problem solved.

I'll keep her updated once new/advanced blocks and utilities like shields become available.
Have fun and tell me whether you liked it or not and I'll include your suggestions in the next update.

//fun fact:
Danger Zone is a rather silly name borrowed from a local gym. They call their room where the "hardcore training devices" are stored the "Danger Zone". :D

Thanks again :)
I think the key is to build purpose-based. The Kshatra is a combat vessel - this is made for general purpose and exploration. If you think purpose-driven, you'll produce good designs.:) I'm glad it inspired your own stuff - let creativity thrive. ;)

And I am an even bigger fan of this design than the behemouth Kshatra. Very unique design and I love the verticle warp drive. I immediatly went and have been tinkering with my own CV's infromed with that vision. Nicely done.

This is weird. ah - have you played since the last update? The keys for turning on/off the ship and/or lights and devices have changed. I think it's t / f and y, but I remapped it. Just check the binding. This should solve it. :)

Hi. Which one? The Front Elevator oder the two at the back? Could you provide me with a screenshot, please? Thanks for trying out my ship, by the way! :)

I had the honor to ride and also fly the two predecessors of this ship. It's amazing to see how you continously refined the layout and design from the first concept! This vessel saved our butts more than once. Never want to miss her again in our fleet!

Great ship!

As far as design goes, I can tell you spent a great deal of time on it. There's no wasted space and everything is placed in a logical location. Has ample power, at full burn she's still at 50% and can hover even in high gravity atmospheres.

The nacelles provide room to expand. I turned one into a huge garden. :)

My favorite CV to date. Thanks!
