UPDATE:
I've mademodified some of the grenade particle effects for use in this mod, as seen in one of the three videos at the top. Turns out recoloring and doing slight tweaks to the particle effects is actually really easy. XCOM really is a videogame.

The goal of this mod is to fix two problems:
One, you're never ever going to see a single enemy grenade unless a muton happens to throw it.
Two, you're never ever going to be scared of the grenades held by ADVENT rooks.

So to this accord, there are additional but indistinguishable units within the enemy rank that absolutely love to throw grenades.

These include:
------------------------------------------------------
third level advent captains that will throw Flashbangs at you (with holotarget applied), or frag grenades that apply rupture.
Troopers taht actually use the grenades, and who may have flashbangs or expose grenades.
Shieldbearers that may or may not be carrying firebomb and gas grenades.

There's also one more special suprise grenade in there.

None of these units really kick in until you start getting t2 ADVENT, and none of the nasty ones start to kick in until you get t3 advent.

To that effect, I should say that in the videos, rookies are getting slain by late game units. Hopefully you have more than targetsrookies by that stage.
If anything else, this mod should make fuse a LOT more fun to play with.

I'd suggest that you play this with some form of enhanced squad size mod, and any other meatgrinder additions that you see fit.

If anybody is super into the creating models and particle effects, and feels like attempting to make effects and (maybe) models for the grenades added, that would be really great. Even just making the flashbang emit red light, or the smoke grenade to emit black smoke, would be nice. I got bored enough to do this myself. Actual grenade models are on indefinite standby.

TODO:
Once I can figure out how to make the grenades single use single consume, and I can add them into the mirror enemy droptables. They make nice fallback weapons, and they can also be stockpiled for the infiltration style missions. Maybe I'll add a few more fun grenades later.
