This solution https://youtu.be/RgYEfXw434c is optimized with @lapicidas's tricks. Nevertheless, these solutions differ a bit in the second part. I met that script in 4.13.

@hub, thanks for playing. I believe that trap detection is disabled once gel is placed on the upper platform, so after that it shouldn't be an issue. It's unfortunately not easy to detect if surfaces are painted or not. Good find though!

@Brave, your solution is not intended, I think it's more difficult than the intended method. I'm not sure how to prevent what you did.

Demo click here [www.dropbox.com] I died in the goo just after jumping/passing through my portals with the reflector to put on the weighted cube button, then aim the laser at the catcher to make my exit.
