Myriad Mk.IV

The Mark IV is here!

This redesign of the Myriad features a sleeker design of the bridge, and enhanced interior space.

The hangar bays have been reduced to a total of 5, down from 7, to allow larger ships to be docked and the hangar to be furnished.

Most interior doors have been replaced with the new sliding doors, for space-saving in the airlocks, and for added comfort. Doors to the bridge and to the warp drive remain the standard steel doors (For security purposes).

The Mk.IV now features a warp drive, accessable via the engineering bay, and features added security to deter unauthorized personel.

The Mk.IV med bay hase been significantly upgraded, at the cost of one of the ship's refineries. The med bay now features cyro storage, and a direct connection to the ship's air supply, no more need for oxygen bottles on this ship.

The Mk.IV has sacrificed it's forward defensive capabilites for heavier frontal armor, and a forward docking connection for faster refueling and cargo transportation.

Lighting has been improved throughout the ship, with added spotlights in the hangar, and added interior lighting where needed.

The Mk.IV features upgraded gyroscopes for enhanced manuverability.

Unfortunately this ship still does not have atmospheric capabilities, as it would require heavy modification of the ships engines, nevertheless, I will redesign it if there is a demand for it.

Like the Mk.III

For new subscribers, you will notice that this ship lacks significant firepower. The intent of this ship was to be used as a support ship, or for small colonies. But feel free to modify the ship as you see fit.
