I havn't done yet the parthain shot for the units, partly time and partly have an idea of creating a couple of mercenary units that are basicly hun unit copy pasted with a different name like:
Auxiliary HUN_UNIT_NAME.

p.s. I like your idea, about giving rome more influence from different sources such as the huns.
