Colonial Viper Mk.II V.2 (Hydrogen)

Description
This is the second version of my BSG Colonial Viper Mk II. The hydrogen generators onboard allow this ship to use the hydrogen engines, making it very fast and nimble in a fight to more accurately emulate the Vipers from the series. It is now also capable of atmospheric flight, and the design of this ship has been smoothed out and looks more screen-accurate than my ion-driven version. Hope you enjoy!

This must be the Viper [XGN] XLency based his on. Exellent ship; I learned a lot from that thing.

Same problem for me currently with the latest version of SE as [XGN] XLency had, warning about modded blocks and then blocks missing after the blueprint is copy pasted into world. From what I can tell from the pictures here, the blocks missing are those round corner blocks covering the small thrusters on sides.

I don't know what to tell you. Sorry... It loads in fine for me, and I have not had any other complaints about blocks being modded.

This is odd. Very odd. When I paste in the blueprint it says some blocks or missing or unavailible in the world. I know for a fact the blocks missing are above the port and starboard hydrogen thrusters and on the top right in front of the top wing.

Thank you for the compliment. I can, but the current power of ion thrusters is also too low to make a practical Viper as well. Really, modded engines or infinite-fuel hydrogen engines are the only solutions which give the Viper its distinctive acceleration. As for your mod issue, idk what to tell you. I just loaded up a new, vanilla world and imported this workshop version into the world with no problem at all. I do not know what the issue is, but I think it is on your side.

Other than those few things, this is the best Mark 2 I've seen so far. Mark 7 apparently has mods too, but it's nice as well.

And without the mods?
Ren 29 Dec, 2017 @ 4:57pm
Oh. Can you make a version of this with ion thrusters then?

This is not a ship designed for survival. Hydrogen, as it currently stands in the game, is unrealistically underpowered and inefficient. It is powered by oxygen generators. The craft does not even have a hydro tank, because the tanks are not made small enough to be useful with fighter craft. In order to get the acceleration I wanted in the small package of a Viper, I had to compromise survival playability. Hence the reason there is not uranium in the reactors.

Sorry for the amount of posts. I keep remembering things. Even with the ship powered and hydrogen/oxygen tanks in the ship, the hydrogen thrusters won't activate in survival. Can you see what's wrong?
