The first note says the path opens at the Rift. I suggest you check Riften, particularily the part where the city splits in two due to a RIFT. You will find secrets beneath there :)

also, i sound like a fu king idiot for saying this, but how do you make notes? I do a lot of maps that i will eventually put on workshop, but i dont know how to make notes.
