Valfeld

Description
Welcome to Valfeld!

A 250k city along the north coast of Germany, it is situated on the delta of the Val river from which it derives it's name. Once an steadfast pillar in the Hanse trading empire, Valfeld now makes it's fortune quietly through tourism brought in by it's old grand canals, antiquated overground rail service and stunning combination of coastal and mountain vistas.

I did spec and build a new PC just before this build so I must admit I used SC to determine what I wanted! :) Even so, it is likely overkill. I'd recommend the 32GB of ram for certain if you're going to use as many assets as I did. Never reached that high, but exceeded 16GB easily.

CPU: i7 6700k (@ 4.6GHz)
MBD: Asus Maximus VIII Formula
GPU: GTX 970 (didn't need 4k)
Memory: 32GB DDR4 3200 Mhz (speed is excessive, half will do)

Recommend a SATA hard drive at minimum. M.2/PCIe works a treat though.

For inspiration I highly recommend https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/ . So many various ways do go about this game and each one of them stunning.

This inspires me so much...but can I ask what your PC specs are? I want to do something similar to this but was wondering if it would really be possible considering whenever I zoom into a relatively populated area my FPS just drops. I'm cleaning my game out before I start this project though and downloading only things that would help me build the city, so that should help. But this truly is amazing, whenever I need inspiration I just come here to look :)
