Very good chamber! Challenging but logical. I liked the blob puzzle.

That's, Repulsion Gel :bluegel:

Nice funnel / bounce gel map, very entertaining; the last move to get the cube is really cool.

@levitatingspleen: Oh, not the thing with the door. Using the funnels to control which direction a painted cube will bounce back. You can stand on the button at the exit, portal the funnel on the flip panel so it pushes both the blue gel and cube to the adjacent wall. Then once the cube starts bouncing on the wall, you move the funnel to the flip panel in the goo, and the cube should fly back landing into it. Finally, portal the flip panel on the wall by the exit door. The cube will fly through, get cleaned by the water and you can catch it and place it on the button.

@ (Edgy) Asriel Dreemur, I'm not sure how getting blue gel on the exit doors is going to help get the cube. Or is that just for you to bounce back?

The map has been updated.

@levitatingspleen: For the trick that may take a few attempts, that's only if the cube ends up getting destroyed before you can retrieve it. There's a way to get a new cube to you without having to redo the entire last room. It involves the main gimmick of part 8, which was one of the reasons why I sent that map before this one.

Of the series I've played so far, and I've played a few other of the feeling blues, this one definitely seems the most ambitious in its scale. I really like how the chamber is structured so that it loops back in on itself in very clever ways. I had to give a nod when I saw the starting area link to the third room. The first two rooms are fine in terms of design, and there's a nice sense of progression as you naturally acquire the means to traverse between rooms. The third room is where the meat of the puzzle seems to be. Unfortunately I think I encountered an unintended solution there. If you jump on the the flip panel in the middle of the acid, and use the repulsion gel you can jump to any gated section of the test. This makes the polarity button unneeded. You also mentioned a trick that might take two or three tries to execute, but getting the cube up to the exit platform was fairly straightforward, am I missing something there?

Hope this helps!

UPDATE

The puzzle in the second chamber has been changed a bit to make it slightly harder. A cube is now required to open the exit door. This was also done to prevent a glitch which could make the exit elevator unaccessible if you tried to exit the map too early.

I discovered a neat trick with blue gel while experimenting with the layout, and decided to keep it in. I think you'll all enjoy it. :P Though it may take 2 or 3 tries to get it to work properly as is the somewhat rng nature of blue gel.
