To activate the secondary bindings just hold the "Back"- button on your controller and press a button of your choice.
Release the back button to go back to the primary bindings.

Now that SteamInput exists, you need to turn it off in the steam properties of the game. Otherwise the SteamInput and ControllerCompanion configurations are overlapping.

I tried it and it still works for me.

But I discovered something: Now that SteamInput exists, you need to turn it off in the steam properties of the game. Otherwise the SteamInput and ControllerCompanion configurations are overlapping.

Yes, press the subscribe button on this site and you're good to go. You will notice a short workshop download in your steam client. After this just launch factorio and play the game with your controller.

You can control the mouse cursor in menus with your right thumbstick.
