An interface mod that replaces the old English spelling and terminology in the game with modern American English. The mod also changes the bureaucracy screen to the "Prison Research" screen complete with a corkboard. Other changes include...

Prisoners are called inmates
All temperature readings including the clock are in degrees Fahrenheit (no Celsius is displayed)
Canteen > Cafeteria
Cleaning Cupboard > Custodian Room
Staffroom > Staff Lounge
Laundry > Laundry Room
and more...

Some object name changes include...
Cooker > Stove
Fridge > Refrigerator
CCTV > Security Camera (and monitor)
Laundry Machine > Washing Machine
and more...

Some spelling changes include...
Labour > Labor
Armoury > Armory
Behaviour > Behavior
Centre > Center
and more...

American flag appears on main menu when mod is active.

FOR BEST RESULTS -
Use the arrow buttons in the mod manager to move this mod all the way down to the last mod in your list. This will allow any other mods you may have to override this mod's language file.

Funny a lot of the things he changed are commonly used in the United states too.

Much better, though "lock open/close" didn't need to be changed, now it's just harder to read the text. What this didn't fix that it needs to is the spelling if "Tire" from "Tyre" for the tire stack. That's always badly bothered me.
