Here is a little something I threw together for my friends at the "Low Hydrogen" streaming server on twitch. enjoy.

This is a single stage earth to orbital launch vehicle made up of vanilla parts and is survival ready. It is hydrogen powered and has the thruster incremental control system in the cockpit.

8 hydrogen tanks
6 gyros
3 large main thrusters
3 cockpits
6 oxygen generators
1 oxygen tank
2 medium cargo containers

I launched this vehicle in a survival test world loaded with 150,000 kg of stone, (75,000 kg in each cargo container) and 25000 kg of ice in each of the ships 6 oxygen generators. I launched the ship at full manual thrust. Once it reached 100 m/s I used the throttle incremental detents to keep the speed between 90 and 100 m/s adjusting the setting on the fly as I went. I made it all the way to orbit in the test and I used the hydrogen fuel slow enough that the oxygen generators were able to keep up with the demand and the hydrogen tanks were still showing 100% full when I stopped the ship. At the end of the test all of the oxygen generators had 14,500 kg of ice left in their storage capacity. This ship has a connector on the bottom to be compatible with the launch gantry in your base.
