Long-Lasting Jam

Description
Considering that another name for jam would be a preserve, it seems odd to me that the Fist Full of Jam food spoils at a normal rate. This is just a simple mod which doubles the time it takes to spoil, making it 30 days. This should allow you to stockpile your berries for winter, which (as it happens) was the original purpose for jam in the real world.

Can you please help me to write the simple mod to make Hamlet gummy slug not spoilable, so i can keep it as my pet forever? I suppose it's similar to this mode. I really will miss my slug if it spoiles :(

Thank you, I'd look forward to that. :)

@delonariel Oh gosh, is it a bit, 15 days as well. Yeah, I could probably do that.

Would you consider making a similar mod for taffy? That's even more ridiculous ^^

Thank you, the fact that it spoils so quickly annoyed me too

Sorry for the late replies:

@dinosaurwallace Thanks for the support!

@DidierSuper_Landerne I could see that as a decent alternative for a mod which changes more. I very specifically wanted to keep this close to vanilla, so I kept the recipe the same.

@Almighty Helix Fossil Yes they are where I am from. You could argue that jam is a subset of preserve, but the two terms are used interchangably. Likely British English vs American English difference.

Jams aren't the same as preserves..

I like the idea (I tought it would be logical to actually craft "Jam pot".

But I would find it more coherent to have to craft the recipe with a glass component, or to have to put the fist full of jam into a crafted pot, who would spoil at extremely low rate.

Nice! That was a quirk that always bothered me. I'm excited to try this out!
