Calibrations 1-4 adjust 0, 5, 10, and 15 degrees on each arm. Combined inputs average the strength, IE 1+2 is 2.5. Spend some time at various ranges and get used to calibrating the weapons accordingly. If you calibrate right, you can land both arms on targets almost nonstop.
My next point is that, even with enhancements, the thor's arm robotics have limited motion ranges, so you should turn to match target facing constantly for maximum accuracy and ease of aim. An odd habit, but note turning is different if your legs are moving, as in more rapid in rate. A bit of shuffling around helps keep on target nicely.
Past that, lead and calculate for arc and practice, and you'll find the thor a solid mech.
