Castle Siege: Aftermath

Description
Small Map 3 vs 3

- small map for fast warfare
- Night/Day cycle (last 3 days)
- detailed map
- 4 ammunition points
- 4 territory points
- 2 victory points

This is the 3vs3 version of my old map Castle Siege: The Castle. After several years of war the Castle is really changed: The Dam is detroyed and the village is ruined. Cannons and tanks can hold the old lake but in the castle the infantry is the protagonist. I suggest a realistic warfare mod to play this map, I used 'Spearhead Combat Overhaul' mod by Acrhonos.
Dust, close and cruel urban warfare.

Love this map, by far my favorite "mini series" of maps. However, when playing as player 2 one team 1, they spawn in what looks like a river bed and are unable to utilize any armor, light armor, or simple trucks. Many archways and non-destroyable buidlings prevent team 1 from using any kind of vehicles while team 2 can freely get vehicles on the battlefield and eliminate the other team with ease.

I was frustrated when by four shermans were unable to drive down the dam slope and attack, but two panzer IVs were able to drive up the slope and cream my rangers.

Love the Castle Sieges, excellent detail, perfect infantry combat, just not vehicle friendly. :)

Bear-----> Your Idea is nice, maybe in future I'll do a bigger map. I forget to use the Stamp Placement Tool in the editor to resize the map...thx you for the suggestions

I would personally extend the maps width. Right now its a box, so per my ex, a rectangle might make it better and allow for more fields of combat rather than just the kill river in the middle. Ive alread adjusted the map a bit for my own use with some buildings, but no worries I dont publish my mods.

The ammo points would make it a bit faster gameplay, but I would fear it would make one side or the other whoever is faster over powered. Its a well balanced map now. I wouldn't fix something thats not broke. However, Thank you for your effort and hardwork. I love these castle maps.

Brown13Whiskey--->I noticed that in many situations vehicles couldn't move, in particulary in the ramp down the dam, or in the stairs in the castle ( between Axis bases). But sometimes they could move. I particulary USAF vehicles were blocked , but other factions can move without problems. Ex: Sherman was build in base 4 can't go under the ramp (dam) but only towards the castle, I move the Sherman trough castle (dry river, breach,village, canal, harbour) finally in the dry lake in front of base 5. At this point Sherman can move in all ramps altough before he couldn't.

Needs more ammunition points. Really slow map. Although I really enjoyed how built it was.

You can't even move AT guns through the castle. Great idea with poor execution.
