Beskrivelse
Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog (aka Amy in Sonic 1) is a character swap hack of the game Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, with character Amy Rose as playable character in place of Sonic the Hedgehog. The games' sprites (modified from Sonic CD) use Amy's initial design prior to Sonic Adventure.

The game was modified by E-122-Psi, with additional programming and coding by other members including MarkeyJester, Aquaslash, Selbi and Hayate. Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic 3 and Amy Rose are sequels to this hack.

This is the only way to enjoy this game. It becomes so much more fun when you can piko jump.

Just wish the range was larger and you could do the piko vault, but hey it's still a great mod, makes Sonic 1 almost as good as Sonic 2.

Warning: Don't hit the final boss more than 8 times... he becomes invincible (I'm guessing it'd take 256 hits to kill him, but the RNG and general speed of the boss makes that impossible within the time limit)

E-122-Psi has given permission for his mods to be uploaded, so long as people "follow the usual procedures (eg. don't steal credit, don't use for stuff that may incriminate me or otherwise get me into trouble)".

This is so well-done, I'm really impressed. Most hacks like this are just a sprite replacements, but this one goes all out.
