This is the only way to enjoy this game. It becomes so much more fun when you can piko jump.

Just wish the range was larger and you could do the piko vault, but hey it's still a great mod, makes Sonic 1 almost as good as Sonic 2.

Warning: Don't hit the final boss more than 8 times... he becomes invincible (I'm guessing it'd take 256 hits to kill him, but the RNG and general speed of the boss makes that impossible within the time limit)

i've been looking for this for a while and i'm pleased to of found it at last,after wanting to play as amy for so long. well done for your hard work :D

This is so well-done, I'm really impressed. Most hacks like this are just a sprite replacements, but this one goes all out.

@Masked Rider if this is the rom hack I think it is then yes, Amy plays pretty close to how she's supposed to play in Sonic Advance 1 (some of the physics are different however and she lacks her head-first diving attack). The later rom hacks of Sonic 2 and 3 replace her long jump with a peel-out dash like Advance 2 had.

I was so hoping I would find this. I love the Amy Rose mods for Sonic the Hedgehog games, they're my favourites! :D

One sad thing about playing the official Mega Drive Classics on Steam as opposed to a different, DIY emulator, is that I couldn't play Sonic games as Amy. And now I can!

If you can somehow make this Amy play the same as Amy played in Sonic Advance 1, then it would be way worth it.
