My second concern is the special stages. Why is Sonic in the special stages? Shadow's face or front torso is not shown during a special stage, so you can just re-color Sonic to have black fur, and maybe re-design his shoes to resemble Shadow's shoes.Also, when SOnic passes a goal, the sign post shows a "Sonic" with black fur, still with his smile and blue pupils. You could just give him red pupils and maybe a more serious expression. But overall, the wrong name is displayed, Shadow isn't in the special stages, and the sprites glitch here and there, but the sprites are overall still amazing and I can tell a great amount of effort was put into this. I rate this a 8.7/10.

Hello! I love this mod, and I would like to give a review on it. Let me just say, Shadow's sprite looks extremely professional and well made. If you didn't take it from another mod or sprite sheet, then I can tell you put a lot of effort into this. But if you did, either way, it's well-made. One concern I do have, is the names. On the bottom of the screen, the name is displayed as "Sonic", and when you finish a level, the name is displayed as "Sonic"...I do not know much about Sonic rom hacking, but if I am not mistaken, there is a five letter limit in writing a character's name. That's why Knuckles' name is shortened to K.T.E and such. However, something I suggest is to make the name Shad, one of Shadow's nicknames, so you don't go over the 5 letter limit. There are some hacks that rewrite the code so a six or seven letter limit is added, like in Vector in Sonic 1 and Bunnie Rabbot in Sonic 1.

sonic 3 just got edgeyer

Seems like it could do with finishing, noticed plenty of times like on the main menu, even in-game when getting blue sphere's....that is just shows Sonic, not Shadow.
