Instructions to make this work 2024

1. Subscribe to the mod.

2. Go to mod directory, where ever SteamVR is installed and look for the folder containing the mod.

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\250820\674789170\untitled

3. Rename the following files.

" security_camera.png " ---to--- " lh_basestation_valve_gen2.png "

" untitled.obj " ---to--- " lh_basestation_valve_gen2.obj "

4. Open "lh_basestation_valve_gen2.obj" with a text editor, replace the 3rd line with the following phrase,

" mtllib lh_basestation_valve_gen2.mtl "

after you are done, save and close the text editor.

5. You have modified 2 files, you will now move the 2 files you modified and replace the existing files in the SteamVR installation directory.

Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\resources\rendermodels\lh_basestation_valve_gen2

6. Launch SteamVR.

Perfect size

Using Rift. the cameras are facing away from me, so I'm looking at the back sides of them. not very cool at that angle.

I wish the camera followed my headset's position.

If only I had the HTC vive
