I haven't bothered to update it because, honestly, you are better off playing the latest version of this hack on an emulator like BlastEm or Genesis Plus GX instead. The one used in SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis Classics is both less accurate and does not support SRAM when playing modded games.
Maybe that would solve the save game issue so many people seem to have with the Workshop version?
Unfortunate.
However, the game cannot save at all. I know I am running the mod since the 3 fire ant battle gives 10 exp instead of the regular 5. Whenever I click to save it makes the 'bip' sound, but still says empty on all the slots. Saving the 'regular' way in-game does absolutely nothing. Upon rebooting the game all saves are lost.
