Nexie's Guitar Hero EXTREME

Description
This mod is based on Fusecavator's DDR mod, and was made to simulate a Guitar Hero like playstyle.
------------
Controls are A, S, D, F, G. or 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or E, R, Space, U, I
------------
• This mode is the most difficult gamemode for regular, normal people. (if you're not one of those, go check out my lightspeed mode)
• 5 Lanes (Green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange)
• It generates twice as much double and triple blocks as any other gamemode.
• It's the fastest.
------------

I made a very simple FreePIE [andersmalmgren.github.io] script so you can play original Guitar Hero style: Holding the buttons (6,7,8,9,0) and hitting the "strum bar" (Backspace).

I recommend holding the keyboard upside down in your chest to play this way (like a guitar ^_^).

Pastebin link to the script:

How-To: (Install and) start FreePIE, copy-paste the script (,maybe save it) and hit F5 to run it.

Audio surf é um jogo único, não acho legal ficar comparando. Apesar da foto estar legal. Eu jogar mt guitar hero até conhecer o audio. Bem mais personalizável.

The background idea is pretty awesome btw. I can't thank you enough for this. I've been wanting something where I can use a gh controller to play an unlimited variety of music for SO long now. I hope you continue to improve on this awesome mod.

Ah I see the feedback now when using Stadium. My only suggestion is that it could be a little snappier as the fade is too long, making it look bloated when pressing multiple buttons at speed. It'd also be interesting to implement some sort of 'miss' sound, as if you were hitting the spikes in the default modes. I just done some research and have now got my Xbox360 X-plorer controller keys rebinded to 1-5, so this mod + software & an old guitar hero controller has pretty much managed to emulate Guitar Hero, minus the strumming & possibility of failure.

For anyone who is curious, I used the software demonstrated in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZHX_X7a-RQ) to rebind green-orange on the guitar hero controller to 1-5 which works flawlessly in-game, with no input lag what so ever.

They do react, you're probably using a skin that makes it hard to see, but try it with the default Stadium skin, it works fine.
Also I'm planning to make a skin specifically for this gamemode, so if i can manage that, then there will be no problems at all.

Is there not a way you can make it so that the static colour blocks at the bottom of the lane actually react when you press the binded key? Like if it were to slightly enlarge or glow, something like that would be sweet. This is pretty cool tho, gj... now only if I could rebind my gh guitar keys aha ;)
