Reworked Cultures
A Culture Alternative

Updated for 1.19.x.x

Description:
This mod changes game cultures to a more historically accurate reflection of culture in 1445.

The mod includes 490 cultures, compared to 333 in vanilla (including the lost cultures group).
You can examine the changes in the images or in linked spreadsheets

Selected Highlights:
  1. Turkic cultures seperated from Semetic cultures
  2. Incorporation of vanilla "Lost Culture Group" fantasy cultures into logical groups to support custom nation gameplay
  3. All countries which have newly introduced cultures have their primary cultures updated (ie Cornish is now the new primary culture in Cornwall)
  4. Significantly increased cultural diversity in Sub Saharan Africa

Compatibility:
Compatible with most mods that do not radically alter game mechanics or add very similar content.
This mod requires no DLC but can be used with all DLC
This culture mod has been optimized to work with Organic Culture Transmission

In the case of Greece,you have a correct map,but you didn't follow it properly. And btw,northern Epirus was by far majority Greek until the time of Hodja

well, in fact, Muscovite and Novgorodian cultures were different from Ruthenian and Belorussian. Those lands has much more finno-ugric culture (because, well, those tribes lived there, slavics were minority, even if rulers in Muscovy were slavic). Novgorodian culture was kinda close to karelian. It's not like i'm professor or something like that, just remember that in old documents the tribes of these lands were aliens for slavs for hundreds years. If you'll have desire, check this region. Maybe i'm wrong, sorry then.

Occitan subcultures seem to be considered as french subcultures.
Also Catalan should be in the same culture group as occitan (not Iberian), to be correct... ;)

we Kashubians live in area of Tuchel and Danzing for over thousand years, why bring our culture and not place it where is it now and was in duration of the game ?

Also if you are still here I've been doing some culture editting for my personal use. I may use this mod as a base but I will not upload my work... but if you've abandoned this I would happily take over.
