THE MOBILE VEHICULAR LABORATORY

The Mobile Vehicular Laboratory is designed with all the equipment, quarters and comfort needed for on the road research, exploration and discovery. This is an addon not a senario. It allows 3D printer construction of the Mobile Vehicular Laboratory in any senario you are running.

IMPORTANT!

Important things to consider when using this Addon:

If you are using any of the 3D printers that require resources for added simulation experience, this vehicle requires a large number of resources and 10 minutes to construct. You can use any of the resource barrels mods that have a large capacity with the 3D printer so you do not have to continually swap out barrels during the construction process.

When placing the vehicle using the contruction tool, be sure to rotate the chassis until you see the ghost image in front of you so you can ensure the correct placement of the vehicle and you do not inadvertantly put it somewhere you do not want it to be. A very helpful way to make sure is to turn on camera zoom in the upper right hand corner and when the ghost image of the chassis appears in the camera zoom, you know that the vehicle will be placed in front of you at a distance.

Edit: For those of you using this addon, the recent patch seems to have disabled the control panel in the rear of the Mobile Lab. You can neither extend it or retract it via the rear panel. You can still enter by means of the outside front cabin by walking to the either side where the circled texture is (see above screenshots). Walk up to the circle and look straight up below the seat (driver or crane side) and the seat will highlight for you to take control. Or if you jump up in the front facing the seat, you can usually take control that way. If you have a previous saved version of TKOM by means of backups, you might want to revert back to that one if this bothers you.

Edit: You can extend and retract the rear ramp, but you have to hunt for the buttons in order to do so. Start from the left of the black screen. Move a little over to the right and press. I believe the top is extend and the middle is retract.
