Многие поклонники Euro Truck Simulator 2 видели мод добавляющий два мощных двигателя для всех грузовиков на 1000 и 1500 л.с., я тоже ставил данный мод, но он имеет ряд минусов. В число минусов входит: невозможность ездить на малых скоростях, даже при игре на геймпаде с тригерами\аналоговыми стиками и с рулем, к тому же ну совершенно не интересно, когда у тебя с первого уровня есть двигатель на 1000 л.с. Так что я этот мод отключил. Какое-то время я ездил, мой уровень рос и в один момент я понял что из двигателей ничего нового я не открою (это кстати большая недоработка со стороны разработчиков, но сейчас не об этом). Второе что я понял, так это то, что если я хочу ездить на Renault Premium то мне доступен максимум только двигатель мощностью 460 л.с. и все, предел, а у Volvo FH16 есть 750-сильный движок, ну несправедливо же, подумал я и сделал свой мод.
Мой мод не добавляет в игру гипертрофированные мощные двигатели - это важно. Я просто взял за основу FH16 и его 750 л.с. и решил подогнать все остальные грузовики к этому же показателю. Я отследил прогрессию у каждой линейки двигателей, и просто дополнил ряд двигателей всех производителей до примерно 750 л.с. Потом я подумал, что любители Volvo FH16 все равно будут испытывать скуку, ведь топовый двигатель на 750 л.с. открывается довольно рано (на 16лвл) и все, интерес практически пропадает, ну разве что кенгурятники новые открывать. Поэтому я добавил два двигателя для FH16 - 800 л.с. и 850 л.с. и остальные грузовики так же подогнал под новый уровень Volvo FH16. Но что бы процесс игры имел смысл, то топовые двигатели можно будет открыть и купить в районе 30-31 уровня, так что играть будет ради чего.
