Description
Enemy fleets jump away as soon as you enter system? Tired of playing cat and mouse?

Try this new and improved FTL Interdictor - aka, The Mouse Catcher!

Adds a new Snare-type aura module for ships, with the following effects:
- Increased area of effect (effectively system wide)
- Increased FTL charging time (jump is still possible if you don't engage)
- No change to emergency FTL or sublight speed, use the ordinary Snare for that.

sweet like i said this is one of the first mods i ever used and since it really only adds some simple code it actually still works but you do have to have a custom ship that is modified to hold hostile ship aura's like the realistic ships electronic warfare cruiser or the star wars empire interdictor for instance

Sure, go ahead. I am surprised it still works, I would test it but I can't play Stellaris anymore due to injury in my clicking finger. D'oh.

@JH i did have one question do you intend to ever update it ? i know it still works... if not id like to look into it mainly for personal use but i might re post it at some time if you are okey with it

Iam to this day still using this mod lol its amasing in combination with realistic ships since that has an elictronic warfare cruiser

1.3 seems to have removed ship auras altogther.

Does it go with any ship? I imagine, such an Inderdictor module to be quite powerhungry and perhaps therefor only goes with ships modules cruisers and above. Then also rather expensive, So you would have a need perhaps for 1-2 ships in one fleet, but not just put them into all ships, which would be then waste of space and ressources. I love the idear, i would also like to have this as Station Module Option, then again there is soemthign similar ... which increases FTL cooldowns by 400% was it? Would you please put the exact stats of this module into the discription, so we can compare the changes you made to the default version? Perhaps in brakets, by how much it was increased. ty

This is a great stopgap until we (hopefully) get a better system for static defenses, thumbs up.
