Introduction
This guide has been created to help players who want to enjoy the old sound of KF1's Patriarch Themes, Abandon All and Abandon All V3, the classics by zYnthetic.

If you're like me, you heard the new Patriarch Theme and thought "Nah man, this is OK, but this isn't for me. I want Abandon All back". That's what I thought, so I went and brought back Abandon All, the Patriarch's Theme, as well as Abandon All V3, the rare Patriarch theme heard only in the KFO_Transit Twin Patriarch Finale.

The work of creating the sound files has been done for you, brief and simple instructions will be outlined to explain the simple requirements for modding the game's soundtrack. This should take you about two minutes or less.

Below I will provide players with download links for both sound files.
The sound files
Now, unlike KF1, which used .ogg sound files, KF2 uses .wem files.
Creating custom tracks for KF2 is more complex and difficult relative to creating custom tracks for KF1.

Luckily, you don't need to worry about any of that, as here are download links for the two tracks I prepared earlier:

Abandon All:
https://mega DOT nz/file/EB4DzQYR#Eu2xEtLLBb7rvF9rRGO-mzhGeMF7cpiXr_WVmu3D5N0

Abandon All V3
https://mega DOT nz/file/dN5REAIT#dHwWR4PjOVBaoesKl6EpNE-1wmoXyhbmCH-qIs7dTgE

Note: If these downloads links break or stop functioning, I will update them.
The installation
Now then, assuming you have downloaded both, at this point I would like to make something very clear:
You can only choose ONE of them to play at a time. KF2 will only accept one instance of the Patriarch Theme.
This means that you cannot make the game play AA and AAv3. It will only accept one of the two.
If you'd like to switch between the two as you like, there will be more detail on that further on.
For now, let's look at basic installation.
Now don't panic, we'll be going into the game files, but it's as easy as playing a Level 25 Firebug on Normal, anyone can do it.

STEP ONE: Renaming
Assuming you've downloaded both tracks, they should appear on your PC as 655856778 [ABANDON ALL].wem or as 655856778 [ABANDON ALL V3].wem

You will need to rename the sound file to just 655856778.wem
Make sure there are no spaces. This number code naming is the same for both AA and AAv3.

STEP TWO: Replacing
Now that you have your file called 655856778.wem, go to the following location on your PC:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\WwiseAudio\Windows

Note: This file location may differ depending on your system, but everything from \steamapps\ onward should be the same.

Now, once you reach this destination, you'll see a massive amount of folders and files and numbers, but don't panic. It should look something like what you see in the image below.
Now, take your 655856778.wem and drag and drop (or cut and paste) it into this destination.

You will be asked if you want to replace the file. Say YES.

Please on read for further important notes.

Important notes
Please be aware of the following:

Note: DO NOT ATTEMPT to make these changes while KF2 is running. However, it is alright if your Steam application is running.

Note: If these download links break or stop functioning, I will update them. If you attempt to download these files but the links do not function, please inform me in the comments section and I will update them as soon as possible.

Note: The file location destination path in which you install these sound files may differ depending on your system, but everything from \steamapps\ onward should be the same.

Note: These tracks DO WORK ONLINE. You can play multiplayer with these custom tracks.

Note: I have included download links for the files because the KF2 Steam Workshop does not currently facilitate sound file mods adequately. If Tripwire ever allow this, I will upload them to the workshop and add the links to this guide for the sake of convenience.

Note: You may notice that there may be a short gap of silence after the track finishes. This is because the custom track is a little shorter than the vanilla track. There is currently no way to remedy this without breaking your online functionality. After a short silence, the track should play again, as if on loop, as it is supposed to.

Note: You may notice that there you will not see a track name appear on your screen like "Abandon All" or "Abandon All V3". There is currently no way to remedy this without breaking your online functionality. It should hardly matter, considering that you already know what you're about to hear.

Note: If Tripwire ever allow us to make changes to track lengths/track names, I will update this guide with the relevant changes.

Note: If you change your mind and want to switch from AA to AAv3, or vice versa, just rename your other sound file as detailed above and replace the existing file as you did before.

Note: If you have any questions or issues, feel free to ask me about them in the comments below. Soundmodding for KF2 is relatively uncommonly practiced compared to skinmodding, so don't feel bad if there's something you would like to ask me about this process. However I am not, and do not claim to be, a masterful expert in KF2's sounds. Please refrain from asking 'overly complex' questions about Tripwire's development work concerning sound or other such matters.

Note: If, for whatever reason, you would like to hear Abandon All or Abandon All V3 during the Hans boss fight, follow the same steps as above, only this time rename your sound file as 666327332.wem, now it will play for Hans as well. (You can use the same song for both bosses as long as the number codes are as described in this guide).
Conclusion
That should be the end of it.

Once you have followed the steps outlined above, you need only play KF2 and wait until you get the Patriarch boss. The music should play as expected, and hopefully you will enjoy KF2's Patriarch fight as you enjoyed KF1's Patriarch fight.

I would like to point out on a final note that KF2 is still in Early Access (Done Right), and as new updates are released, your sound files may be reset to the vanilla sound files, so you might want to keep copies of these sound files somewhere on your PC, so you can easily replace them again instead of having to redownload them every time.

Do enjoy these songs and try not to wipe while these tracks play.

Could you increase the volume? I'm using v1 and it's really quiet compared to all the other tracks in the game.
