Intrepid Class Cruiser

The Intrepid Class Cruiser is the ship you want to head your fleet. [90% Complete]

Fully rigged with 9 seperate decks, it's a ship meant to last multiple armed conflicts. It can stand in as virtually any Starship role; from Medical, Combat, Salvage roles and more.

To use this ship for an extended period of time, a crew of 5-6 is recommended.

Deck Overview:

The Bridge of the vessel has a forward observation deck and is also equipped with a ready room for commanding officers.

The Main Deck comes stocked with a Rift generator, backup shield and power facilities, and a combat deck with two seperate forward assault batteries.

The Cargo Deck is meant for the storage of all goods. There are 4 large cargo bays below the deck with cargo elevators to each. Also present in the Cargo Deck are 2 cargo teleporters and salvage facilities.

The Crew Deck contains the crew during their off time; it is equipped with a library, dining hall, kitches, 2 seperate dormitory decks (each with 2 suites and 1 dormitory) and a lavatory.

A Sickbay is present in the ship, installed with 4 molecular assemblers and it's own air purification facilities to keep your crew healthy

The Engineering Deck is the largest deck on the ship; it includes 7 separate engine bays, a refinery, an extractor, a 3d printer, and an assembler. While each engine bay includes a different number of engines, overall the engineering deck is responsible for 12 large ion engines, 29 medium sized engines, and 114 small engines.

The Power Deck provides the main source of power for the cruiser. Furnished with 12 large Hydrogen storage containers and 21 Hydrogen reactors, it will keep the starship runinng for a very long time.

A Shield Array is present in the ship as well; installed in it are 4 large and 31 small generators. It was deemed sufficient for 35 total shield generators to be equipped in the ship.

The Operations deck stands at the lower spine of the ship. From here the crew can ascertain their surroundings and
provide reconnaissance for the rest of the ship.
