Immersive Scroll Crafting

This is a simple mod to allow you to craft scrolls. You will be able to duplicate scrolls you have on hand or create new one from known spells.

A Scribe bench has been added to most taverns scattered around Skyrim. Some can also been found in the palaces of the jarls and of course in the College of Winterhold.

How does this mod work?

When you sit down at a scribe bench you will be able to craft your scrolls provided you have the proper tools. You will need to make a quill and craft some ink. For the sake of immesion only 1 quill and 1 bottle of ink can be made at any one time. Also to prevent the game becoming to unbalanced from having hundreds of scrolls.

Quills:
There are 4 types of feathers that can be used to make a quill. The rarer the feather the more uses you will be able to get from it.

- Hawk ( 10 uses )
- Felsaad ( 15 uses )
- Hagraven ( 20 uses )
- Bonehawk ( 30 uses )

Inks:
There are 3 grades of ink, low, medium and high grade. Like quills, the better the grade of ink, the more uses you will get out of it. You will need to make an ink bottle to hold the ink.

- Low grade: 1 chicken egg, 1 salt pile, 1 charcoal, 2 snowberries
- Medium grade 1 charcoal, 1 slaughterfish egg, 2 jazbay
- High grade 1 bone meal, 1 spider egg, 2 Juniper berries

- Ink bottle: 2 pieces of glass ( made at any forge )

Blank scrolls:
Blank scrolls can be made at any tanning rack and they are made from deer, elk, cow and goat pelt.
some pelts will yield more than 1 blank scroll.

STARTING THE MOD:

To be able to start crafting the scrolls you will need to read the book that is found on the scribe bench in the sleeping giant. Once this is read all recipes will be available for use. You dont need to learn any new perks or skill. No skills will be required to craft the scrolls.

The book has all the recipes and information needed to craft the items that are needed.

There are some spells that cannot be made into scrolls. Spells like Flames becuase the duration is based off of Magicka. There are only a few but just wanted everyone to be aware of this so they dont think it is a bug.

There may be updates such as new locations added or additional recipes.

*** I advise against dropping any quill or ink bottle to get rid of them or storing them in a container. I did add code that should prevent you from dropping them but sometimes the creation kit acts a little strange so just keep both items on you..
