Swaffham Colliery

Description
Swaffham Colliery is situated at the end of a small branch off what was once a major route for coal traffic. Set in the 1979s small tank engines still operate over this line taking empty hoppers from the exchange sidings at Norwood up to either Neaston or Swaffham chutes. Just beyond the disused platforms at Swaffham lies a little depot where the engines are serviced between duties.
