Which .dds plugin do you use for GIMP?

@Echo Seven I am using Gimp and simply opening the file and then saving over it. Sorry mate, never used Photoshop before :/

This is great, can you give me some advice? What are the correct settings when working with .dds?
I can load a .dds fine, I have the nvidia extensions for CS6, but when I try and save the .dds it looks like a purple mess. What settings should I be using to save?
