Class 158 (Central Trains) 2 Car

Description
The British Rail Class 158 Express Sprinter is a diesel multiple-unit (or DMU), built specifically for British Rail between 1989 and 1992 by BREL at its Derby Works. They were built to replace many locomotive-hauled passenger trains, and allowed cascading of existing Sprinter units to replace elderly 'heritage' DMUs.

Central Trains (CT) was a train operating company in the United Kingdom owned by National Express that operated the Central Trains franchise from March 1997 until November 2007.

This train is based on the Class 158 units which were operated by Central Trains. These were found in 2 and 3 car formations on the Central Trains network.

Please ensure you have the locomotive at each end option selected in order for the rear of the train to have a cab.

Hi thinskin45,

I want everybody to appreciate that the real genius behind all these trains is Acc3ss Violation who did the original Class 377. I have simply tweaked the original model as its a similar shape to a Class 158, and obviously removed the gangway doors to make the Class 376.

I have very little modelling experience with regards to making items from
Scratch however am slowly learning so I wouldn't rule it out completely. I would absolutely love to model some trains of my own (I'm not far off completing a Class 170) but my talents are limited so it could be a while :)

Joe :)

Hi, great work as always! I have all of your C.S train assets running in my city and they look amazing! A quick question though, are you planning on creating some UK freight trains at some point? To avoid using the defaults, I am stuck using the TRAXX locomotives. Thank you.
