Classic Teams - (18) - Tottenham 61-64

Description
My name is Imadinnerjacket and i'm a FM addict and have been since the mid 90's! I've always added my friends and family to the game through the editor. The last three FM's i've created legends of the game starting with a Tottenham all-star team. These have been posting them on steam workshop and some forums. Below is some of the work i've done.

Spurs Legends FM14
Ballon d'Or Winners FM14
Futbolista del año en Sudamérica FM15
Legends FM16

With the new football season approaching and FM17 on the horizon. I've been think about what to do for it. I'm going to Classic Teams of the Footballing World.

Classic Domestic Teams - These teams will take there squad from a few seasons. The classic year (used to give everyone their age) will normally be the middle season of the period of the classic team. The team will normally be around 25 players with a good balance of postions. All current first team players will be released and be available to sign as free agents.

Classic International Teams - These teams will add players of a nationallity to the database.

Each Team will have two versions, the first being all players are aged 17/18 and at their first clubs. These files will be labelled Classic Teams - 18 - TEAM & YEAR. The manager of the team will be at his first job into coaching/managing. The second will have the players and the manager the age and club they were at during the classic year. These files will be labelled Classic Teams - CY - TEAM & YEAR

I've created two examples:

Tottenham 1961-64 - Bill Nicholson's side did the double in 60-61, F.A. Cup in 61-62 and Cup Winners Cup in 62-63.

Team - Bill Brown, John Hollowbread, Peter Baker, Ron Henry, Maurice Norman, Ken Barton, Mel Hopkins, Phil Beal, Laurie Brown, Danny Blanchflower, Dave Mackay, Cliff Jones, John White, Terry Dyson, Terry Medwin, Tony Marchi, John Smith, Eddie Clayton, Alan Mullery, Derek Possee, Jimmy Robertson, Bobby Smith, Les Allen, Frank Saul, Jimmy Greaves.

Hungary 1954 (World Cup Squad) - Gusztáv Sebes side who won Olimpic Gold and got the the 1954 World Cup Final.

Team - Gyula Grosics, Sándor Gellér, Géza Gulyás, Jenő Buzánszky, Gyula Lóránt, Mihály Lantos, Béla Kárpáti, Pál Várhidi, József Bozsik, Imre Kovács, Ferenc Szojka, László Budai, József Zakariás, József Tóth, Sándor Kocsis, Nándor Hidegkuti, Ferenc Puskás, Zoltán Czibor, Ferenc Machos, Lajos Csordás, Péter Palotás, Mihály Tóth.

The next teams i'm working on are AC Milan 1989-94 and Brazil 1970

I've alway done this on my own but this year i'm looking to collaborate with others. I'm looking for people that are willing to help with:

Research: What teams to do, Squads, Finding Images for facepacks.
Creating: Has some experiance of using FM Editor. Create the players and managers for classic teams.
Facepacks: Have a good knowledge of Photoshop/GIMP to create facepacks to go with each team.

If your interested please contact me via Steam or PM me on this forum.

How to install

I've found that if you subscribe via steam workshop directly you won't get database changes in you 'editor data' folder, so you won't be able to add them to your new save. Below is what works for me.

1. Load FM16
2. Go to 'Downloads'
3. Go to 'Steam Workshop'
4. Go to 'Download add-ons directly from Steam' it will then load the Steam Workshop for FM16
5. Go to 'Browse' and the 'Collections' and find my collection.
6. If you have already subscribed to the Team/s you want you will have to unsubcribe first. Then 'Subcribe' again.
7. Once this is done use 'Shift and Tab' to come out of Steam Workshop.
8. You should now see the players in the 'INSTALLED ADD-ONS'
9. Now start a new game and you done.
