Description
Red Ship
The Red Ship is a vessel that anyone who has ever played Space Engineers will recognize. The ship has been upgraded over that various patches to show off new features. While all these changes added new features to the ship, they were only added as a demonstration (because KSH has a game to make). So I decided to was about time to give this well know ship a proper refit.

Red Ship - Refit
The goal was to keep the iconic look of the Red Ship while updating the ship to make it a proper ship with extra functionality. The entire ship was was gutted and redone, while keeping to the original interior layout as much as possible.

What's New
- 1x Refinery (totally upgraded - 1 productivity, 2 efficiency, 1 power modules)
- 1x Arc Furnace
- 2x Assemblers ( 50% upgraded - 2 productivity modules per assembler)
- 3x Gatling Turrets (up from 1)
- 6x Missile Launcher (up from 1)
- 8x Interior Turrets

- Replaced all doors with sliding doors
- All rooms are pressurized (except for the hangar)
- total overhaul of the hangar (added extra fighter storage)
- Added Battle Stations and All Clear System have been added.

Hangar
Hangar was been totally redone, added an extra deck to increase fighter capacity.

The current hangar has 8 connectors (3 dummies on the upper deck).

The standard complement is 6 fighters, though you can cram more inside the hangar if you keep the red fighters off the connectors.

The hangar can hold more fighters if you do not use the connectors.

The hangar also has a dual lighting system, red for open doors and white for closed.

Also you will find 7 fighters in that hangar bay, for your enjoyment (6 Interceptors and 1 Sniper).

Air Vents
The air vents are set up so if one room is depressurized, the doors to that section will close, preventing the ship from being depressurized. Also in certain section there are stand alone air tanks, for the various rooms that are not connected to the conveyor system.

I would go with a light blue text, as the ion thrusters have a nice blue light too. Maybe set LCDs background to R0;G0;B1.

great ship had trouble with the Jump drives at first (had to grind both down replace them in a diffrent postion on the ship, then put them back again in the same place, before they decided to work) but other then that I used it to go from the earth planet to the mars like planet and back again ^^

Yea, I agree yellow wasn't the best choice but I was trying to go with a color that was already on the design. Red, white and grey looked like crap, I though green but that looked to 1970-80s computer tech, so I settled with yellow (as it was on the connectors and collector).

Really nice refit! I think yellow isnt a good color for lcd text, but that's just my two cents...

The exterior was not as groundbreaking as the blue refit. but a nice overhaul to the ship systems.

I've done a refit of the mine my hauler in the past, but it's been a while since then, so why the hell not. I'll get started on a mining hauler refit.

Any chance we could get the yellow mining hauler refitted? I love that ship, but it's in more need of a refit than even the blue and red ships...
