This map was made using Hammer from the Portal 2 Authoring Tools. You can find the Authoring Tools under the tools tab of your game library if you own Portal 2. It is still labeled a beta, but don't let that discourage you.

Fun but a bit glichy, if you chase the button with the cube, the cube can go into the ground and be lost and I have to restart.

while the puzzle is easy, it's interesting to see the concepts you've come up with and how you've managed to bring them to life. look forward to seeing more of them used in puzzles though

Kind of meh really. The button makes me want to place a cube on it to hold the door open rather than simple running over it keeps it open indefinitely unless you pull back the laser.

They're as long as the concepts I come up with. This was my first released map and, at the time, I was pumping out one map a day. I've since fallen back to maybe one every couple months in favor of doing mapping tutorials and learning 3ds Max. The drive changed.

I like the esthetic style of your maps, visually and aurally as well (many people don't pay enough attention to the aural factor). I appreciate hearing some soundscapes as opposed to music.

But why do your maps have to be so short? :(

I think this is a bit tricky. I had to get back to where I placed the cube seeing that the button track was retracting after I had collected the cube, haha.

Lol. Well that shouldn't happen. xD

OMG the floor ate my cube...

Moving: Very true. This was my first map in Portal 2 with a purpose. I put up a video of my playground map showing this off and people liked it, so I put it into a rudimentary map for release as well as an example map packaged with the instances used.

It was also my first time making custom instances, so I was quite happy with it (and still am).

Neat visual touch, though obviously the only purpose the map serves is to display it.
