You inherited the land from some old unknown relative. Apparently they owned the land on which a failed 70's ore processing industry were built. The infrastructure might be in place as bridges connecting the costal highway and inland highway span the river, but they have not been maintained properly for years and may fail with any springtime flood. Being a pioneer in these parts is tough and it is up to you to prove that can you start anew and make this harsch land prosper!

Map mashed up from heightmaps taken from the Yukon river. Detailing done freehand. Experiment in creating a cold early northern spring theme to go with a fitting map.
