Is this still needed with the current version?

In near future you don´t need this anymore, I want add the official spawns directly in the map, more infos you can find soon on the website

Wait for the next Update for my map, then you don´t need anymore an extension, because I want add official Spawnpoints on the second Landscape^^

hmm interesting. CPU is showing 0% after restart, which usually indicates a server crashing due to a mod. As soon as i remove the ModID 724061917 for the extension from my command line/ini, the CPU pops back up to 5ish %, and the server boots right up with the Epic Islands default map, with no problems..Hopefully in the future I will be able to use your map because I did explore it with the default spawns, and it was a gorgeous map, and looks like a lot of fun to play! I think it works, because there are servers who are running with this extension...
You can enter the server linked above, to test it by yourself^^

mod does not seem to work. the map by itself works beautiful, when adding the spawns extension to the mods list, server processor drops to zero, and the extension does not boot/read.
