No Legacy Tech Loss

Description
This mod removes the loss of legacy techs from the Roman Civil Tech Tree. This mod replaces the vanilla technology effects table entirely, and is therefore incompatible with mods that alter the effects of technologies until I can figure out another way to do this. It IS save compatible.

On a gameplay note, the vanilla set-up is obnoxious, non-sensical, and pegs the Romans as a failing faction from the get-go. For instance, why should I forget how to make concrete if Rome is not only surviving but flourishing?

On an historical note, the game seems to suggest that Christianity was responsible for the destruction of Roman know-how and the onset of the "Dark" Ages. In reality, Christianity did much to preserve classical learning though unfortunately much was still lost in the political and material turmoil of the time. I suspect the developers drew from Edwards Gibbon's "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire", which includes Christianity as one of the causes for the death of Roman Civilization, but is otherwise a fantastic piece of scholarship. Gibbon, an Englishman, wrote at a time when his nation was steeped in rationalism and anti-Catholic sentiment, and that undoubtedly influenced his work.

I am a new modder, so any feedback and constructive criticism would be appreciated! :)

does this work with faction unlockers?

I disagree with the argument "on a historical note", I do agree with the gameplay note even if it creates an interesting challenge to survive while being disempowered when most other campaigns allow the player to build momentum like a train, but I still want to see how the game feels with the mod.

It definitely works, and there have been no crashes. However, I suspect other folks have had other issues in the past with load order or conflicting mods that cause crashes or cause the mod not to work for them.

Does the mod still work?

This mod is essential! In The Last Roman DLC, the Franks can build Great Theaters, but the Romans lose this ability? This mechanic doesn’t make sense, especially for the Eastern Romans.
