Batcave

Description
If given the choice, always be Batman! Move a little closer to that dream and launch your favorite VR experiences from safety of a secret cliffside batcave.

The open hatch doors allow you to add some personal atmosphere and variation with a background of your choosing.

If you want that full Dark Knight experience, I've uploaded a Gotham City background (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=726690984) to pair with this environment.

@Raziel_2011 I'm planning on diving into the documentation for the updated SteamVR home in the next week or so to see what updates could be done to take advantage of the changes.

Most of the assets were modeled out and processed with the old SteamVR limitations in mind so I'll also be looking into whether I can pull in the higher detail models as well.

In the meantime the environment should still load in the new SteamVR home with the exception of the old exterior photo dome. You should also be able to teleport around as thats pretty much baked into the new home features.

Is it possible to update this to work with the new SteamVR home? If not, could you release the assessts online so someone else could?

Very awesome! Hands down the most complex and detailed environment I've seen yet. All we need is some simple looping animation capabilities, and ambient sound/music. A man can dream.

@FilthyCasual You can define a JSON manifest file to tell SteamVR to load multiple objects. If you subscribe to the batcave then lok in the source directory you can view the JSON file to see the format it expects.

@vaudeville_gorilla How did you upload multiple components? The upload process only lets me select a single obj file.

@Raziel I've uploaded a couple bat signal base station models: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=729156485 and a top mounted variation here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=729170895 . Let me know what you think.

@EvilSergi I'm afraid I'm not very familiar with Tron Legacy and have a few other projects on my plate in addition to some refinement to the Batcave so I wouldn't be able to build anything. You might try posting the request in the steamvr forums, someone may be looking for an idea of something to build, or even take a stab at it yourself!

it would be great that you work in a landscape of Tron Legacy or futuristic home to Kevin Flyyn please. Thank you very much!!!

@Raziel I haven't looked at how the base station models work yet but I'll take a look and see if I can put something together!
