Introduced in the later years of the Galactic Republic, the Corillian CR-90 Corvette was known for its exceptional speed, and as a result was typically used for tasks as mundane as freight hauling to high profile diplomatic escort. one such famous example was the Tantive IV. while being intercepted by the Star Destroyer "Devastator" by Darth Vader, Princess Leia Organa had the stolen plans of the Death Star in the ships possetion before hiding it in the droid R2-D2.
