'H E L I O N' - Mining Operations Vehicle (M.O.Ve.) Capital Vessel.

Description
(The IMPERATOR is approaching the system, and will be within range soon - stay tuned!)

The 'HELION' Capital Vessel.
This is a general systems operational Vehicle, capable of performing multiple projects, either planet-side or in deep space. I will upload images to support the descriptions below. If you want to download it, and you like it, feel free to give me some feedback below, thanks :)

STATS

Although it says 4 hours to build, you can easily do it in 30 mins or even less. Just put components into the factory as oppose to ingots and the time becomes drastically reduced :)

Level 20 Capital Vessel; Features high-level hardware and high-capacity storage:

I will also be releasing a lower level Version ..as soon as I get off the phone to my Mother, this could take some time...

The Helion can accomodate two or three small vessels within and upon its docking bays. There is a Docking pad, with repair facility to the Helion's Stern. An expansive cargo/docking bay utilises the interior of its bulk as efficiently as possible, capable of holding all material types within its ample cargo storage containment facility, and boasting a docking bay area for any type of small vessel you wish to carry.

Mining Operations
This is what the H E L I O N was designed for!, and also for construction of other vessels. As a Super-Lifter, the Helion can hold a lot of stuff! When mining, you don't have to keep ingressing into the ship to refine materials or get supplies; There is convenience in design - you can access a hatch to the dedicated refinery unit, located below the starboard side of the undercarriage. This makes everything fast and efficient while you make trips to and from the refinery with the Ore. There are also Medical hatches (1st aid/O2) and utility (tools/charges) hatches. Utility hatches are marked out with YELLOW utility lights, while the main undercarriage hatchway is marked out with GREEN lights.

Docking Bay
The interior docking bay houses most of the ship's industrial systems, but all built to maximise the space within. You can fit a small vessel of around (W=12 blocks / L=20 blocks / H=10 blocks) in approximate dimensions, with plenty of space to work around that.

Docking Pad
The Stern of the vessel houses the Main thrusters, but above these is a neatly designed Docking Pad for a Small Vessel. If the Small Vessel is damaged, particularly the under-carriage, fear not - the pad is designed for access by drone to repair the underside by way of a maintenance slot, running most of the length of the pad.

Structural Layout
The Helion M.O.V is organised to perform all the tasks required to survive in deep space and also in a planet's atmosphere. It's main thrust is very powerful due to the vessel's compact design. Still, it being a Capital Vessel, you cannot expect the manouverability of a Small Vessel, however it performs excellently in either atmosphere or vacuum. The Hull sports extra Armour plating, along the flanks of the vessel, in an attempt to better defend the sensitive hardware within, but the overall design has not been to have PvP in mind, so if you do want to operate Military operations, I suggest thickening the hull with another layer of Steel.

Cockpit/Bridge
The Bridge is cantilevered over the prow of the vessel. This gives allowance for an under-mounted Cargo Bay while still providing excellent visibility while manouvering. Access to the bridge is gained by a catwalk, which runs from the main Elevator shaft, over the cargo bay itself. There is only a single Cockpit installed, however additional seats can be installed if you desire.

Cargo Bay Installation.
This is the main chamber of the vessel - that which most everything else is housed around. There are four Advanced Constructors housed at the back of the Starboard side, that can perform multiple refining/construction tasks, all with dedicated cargo containers for materials. These have been carefully added into a user-friendly sub-group system, within the main grouping itself. Every device has been named for efficient identification for repairs.
  • The Refinery Module Constructor is the one with the access hatch beneath the underside of the Hull-for quick refining of ore as you mine.
  • The Primary Constructor is above the Refinery module, in front of the 3rd and 4th Constructors.
  • The secondary Constructors '01' and '02' are located behind the main Constructors. I was very lucky how the placement worked out, as not everything goes one's way when arranging things in the game!

Everything is easily accessible, there is an elevator system for the elevated cargo holds. Weapons and ammunition containers have been positioned to the Port-side of the cargo bay, but you can decide where you want everything by simply re-arranging the group tree yourself.
(PLEASE NOTE: devices can only be renamed once they have been added to a group).

The Medical facility is across from the Construction bay. This is where the Oxygen storage is located, along with Ammunition Containers, (which would be a terrible thing to do IRL lol). There is an O2 station beside the Medic Station and an additional O2 station located beneath the Hull, behind shutter doors, aft of the main elevator shaft entrance.

Utilities
To the Port-side, facing the Construction Bay is the Medical facility. This contains Oxygen supply, Medical aid supply and First aid/O2 cargo containers, which can also be accessed from below the Hull under-carriage. Utility lights have been grouped into the contol panel to show where the shutters are to access O2, Drill packs, refinery hatch and First Aid supplies. This design has been considered for those who are mining and wish to access supplies and tools etc without having to keep entering in and out of the capital vessel - However, the Elevator shaft is centralised and all of this can be easily access from under the vessel by foot.

Engines
The Helion features 4 standard large Generators which provide a decent amount of power for the vessel's operations. It has 6 Tier-2 Rocket Control Systems, (RCS), which is more than required for navigation. The power-to-weight ratio is nicely balanced, granting impressive acceleration - so be careful when manouvering close to other structures.

Botanical Deck
The Helion has a fantastic capacity to grow up to 40 individual plants. The plots are ready for you to decide what to put in them. The food production is situated at the rear and across from it, designed for convenience, you can access one of the secondary Advanced Constructors, for additional materials, such as purified water or metal plate.

A glass strip offers a view of the Warp drive and the storage facility for the Pentaxid Crystals are housed at the Port-side-Astern of the Botanical deck. A shutter-operated viewing window compliments the food production area, offering a nice view of the Docking pad, above.

Observatory
Giving that this vessel is strictly Industrial in nature, there is however room above to relax and do some star-gazing. Otherwise you can get a good view of the automated Weapons systems - as they obliterate a Drone, if you get the timing right! Access is gained directly from the main elevator shaft, up to the 3rd and uppermost deck.

Groupings
I have organised sub-groups within the main numerical groupings within the control panel, using alpha-numerical labelling, so as to help you use the different systems and functions of the Helion from the control panel. Everything is easy to use and corresponds with the layout, based on Nautical terms; Port-side is left, Starboard is right, Prow or Bows is front and Stern/Astern is the back.

Enjoy the Helion, she is all my own design and is like a home from home and I hope you have fun with it :)
