Such nostalgia I'll get from both. I'll get a whole lot more if I turn on the ambiance from the actual maps and occasionally turn on nostalgic Halo music.
Sadly, the nostalgia is not only saddening due to how I miss playing those games in my young childhood; but it is also - and mostly - how I don't like the new Halos - the ones made by 343 Industries... the same 343 that literally apologized for bad storytelling. Unfortunately they never apologized for the damn microtransactions.
Now I have a question for you Lavell: What gives you nostalgia in the Halo games? Furthermore, does ambiance of maps give you nostalgia? Even further,-more, reply to anything I've regarded here.
