Description
Ad Victoriam Commander. The medical officers report a full recovery since your most recent assignment? Outstanding, if true. Never have I seen a vertibird return in such poor condition without losses. Pleasantries aside, I assume you’re before me to receive a new assignment? And your team are ready for deployment? Excellent.

Your recent triumphs, bravery and unquestionable loyalty to the Brotherhood appoint you best candidate for an assignment of upmost importance. The timing couldn’t be more appropriate. As you’re aware, Recon Team 014-Alpha-D are currently surveying Ground Zero. Until now, their reasons for doing so have remained classified.

Pre-war military documents, decoded by our scribes, disclose the location of a prototype nuclear missile silo. From the information they compiled, it appears the site was designed to launch multiple missiles from a single opening; similar in function to a revolver. More importantly, the site was intended to operate remotely, and in case of a crisis, autonomously. An irresponsible abuse of technology.

The silo resides in the south-western crater, clearly targeted during the Great War to curb retaliation. Warheads were manufactured on site before the nuclear exchange, but we are unaware if they were launched or still occupy the silo. Regardless, the area is still heavily irradiated.

From the Recon Team's reports, the above ground site appears mostly free of hostiles. Access to the interior won’t be problematic as the doors were damaged by the blast. The automated defences are still functional however, and in full control of an artificial intelligence. Your team’s objective is to shut down the auxiliary power, taking control of the facility from this AI. That should prevent any further misuse of the technology housed within.

Should you complete your assignment, I believe a promotion is in order. Ad Victoriam, soldier.

(Gamma is suitable for veteran RimWorld players. For additional Fallout flavour, select Randy Random AI storyteller and colonize an arid map tile and planet. No mods required.)

@RamRod Shit happens, but thank you nonetheless. It happened December 2017, so I like to imagine the burglar's kids had a merry Christmas!

@RustyTheRed, I am incredibly sorry to hear that, it sounds terrible. I completely understand and if circumstances were to change where you had wanted to join don't hesitate to hit me up.

@RamRod I'd have jumped at the opportunity three/four years ago, but I'm afraid I can't commit to anything substantial for a number of reasons: My xbox & its games were stolen in a burglary (including F3 & F:NV), I work a six day week, and I'm out of touch with RimWorld, as I don't play it often or own the DLC.

It's only three settlements, but you're welcome to replicate the ones I've already done (links below the description). They're accurate in scale, but were made in Alpha 8 (Jan 2015), so there'll be many new assets to consider.

@RustyTheRed I am the creator of the Fallout Robots Race (updated to 1.1 now!) and was wondering if you wanted to join in on the project we are working on. One thing that we are working on is recreating all of the Fallout towns and adding them as factions that you can visit.

Thank you for keeping this mod updated, it's really useful now that there's proper fallout mods out there to couple with this

I'm content with the five factions I've already covered in all honesty. It's more enjoyable to devise my own lore than expanding on Fallout's.

Any Chance for an Enclave Faction?

Thanks bud :] I'm playtesting a new scenaria right now, but it isn't Fallout themed. Just my own sci-fi short, no piggybacking.

Hey Rusty, love your work pal. I personally am a fan of the Minutemen (so FO4), any chance you are going to make a few more of these scenarios?

Nvm Recently checked ModDB to see if anyone made anything there, found an enclave faction and item mod
