Hehe that's why they are tricky!

Hm - try to retry it again, you were able to get this one to work perhaps you can get the other one to work too after another try?

yes this one is quite tricky. i didnt use the gel, i never turned it on. but i did get into the turrets area and placed the cube oh it happened again where i tried to access challenge 1 and got an error

I do not see how you can get the lazer panel working without dropping the cube up on the top room with the turrets, but again. please tell me how you did this so I can learn :)

Not really sure if I was ever supposed to be able to get into the other room with the turrets and cubes or not. Post-solve noclip didn't really show anything...

The solution I used was nice and screwy though! =D
Once the fizzler guarding the laser cube at the beginning gets turned off by the ball, it's simple enough to flip the tractor beam panel over, place portals in the switch-room with the stairs, grab the cube, push said switch, then redirect the tractor beam so you can jump off the cube into the beam, and from there place portals on the ceilings until you get close to the exit =p
