Lore

- Forged from objects harbouring the very essence of death, the staff of death is a dangerous weapon granting the bearer power over the mortal coil. The gems are not rubies but in fact diamonds stained by the blood of soldiers fallen in a long and forgotten war. The main body of the staff is carved from the bow of a rotting redwood tree which had seen, through its long life, decades of anger and destruction. Nobody knows who the skull belongs to only that, as its owner died; the force of the bite they exerted locked their jaw in position meaning that the skull is stuck firmly to the staff.
