The Spire

Little is known of the Spire; a massive towering beacon of blackened rock within the frozen wastes. Few survive the trials of the wastes, and none make it to the island itself. Rumour has it that it was forged by the great beast Vulcan itself. Others think a chain of events caused the collision of much smaller islands to combine into one. None can be sure. A theory discussed amongst the dedicated and attentive is that the island was man-made, heated and solidified in midair, held up by atlas. Whatever the truth, only the bold and the cunning will be able to unravel the mysteries of the Spire.
