Description
Meet the MR-GS161c

Having learnt from our mistakes with previous models Eiselburg Industries has produced a newer sleeker more deadly Gunship in it's latest release the MR-GS161c. Focusing entirely on hydrogen thruster powerpacks the MR-GS161c excells in every arena bringing a formidable arsenal to the fight for sugh a light vessel. The MR-GS161c is capable of both atmospheric and vaccum combat both in and out of planetary spheres of influence and is capable of acheiving successful orbital flight on a ful tank.

Features

The MR-GS161c is mounted with a hydrogen thruster package that has been proven to be capable of taking the ship from planetside to orbit without the need for drop tanks. Through careful adjustments to the output the vessel can acheive orbital flight with 10% excess fuel when launched at minimal weight, however due to the onboard ice to hydrogen/oxygen converters this excess can be increased further with a heavy load.

In addition a new top of the line HUD has been incorporated into the MR-GS161c to allow for damage control and power management. Finally unlike earlier models this year the MR-GS161c is equipped with an open broadcast antenna located within the rear of the craft for clear and efficient communication between squadrons.

Achieving Orbit

Orbit can be achieved through careful fuel management.
1. First point as vertical as possible, then engage Hydrogen thrusters to Max override (Taskbar 2 > Option 2) and turn off Inertial Dampeners (Taskbar 2 > Option 4.
2. Next wait until speed reaches world maximum, at this point reduce Hydrogen thrust until speed starts dropping slowly (Taskbar 2 > Option 3).
3. Slowly throttle back by one decrement (Taskbar 2 > Option 3) each time speed maxes out.
5. Final Atmospheric exit can be coasted by alternating the thrust override on and off as needed, this is usually around 0.09G.

Re-entry

Assuming that there are no Speed mods installed just turning on Hydrogen thrusters (Taskbar 2 > Option 1) and inertial dampeners (Taskbar 2 > Option 4) at around 1km should be sufficient to cushion the MR-GS161c on re-entry. If Speed mods are installed then increase the altitude as appropriate (testing may be required and warranty void if used above default speed limits).
