Description
Battlezone 98 Redux Mod Competition

It's been 18 years since the events of Battlezone... The warring factions have ceased fighting.
However, what happens when there are still a lot of redundant war-vehicles scattered across the planets, and a bunch of bored space-grunts who have nothing better to do?

This mod makes it possible to race on a track against 3 AI
Don't try to take shortcuts! There are hidden checkpoints which will punish you for doing that!
Finish first place to win!
Press R to reset your craft if you fall off the track.
If popular enough, i'll see about making a multiplayer race map.

Finished 10th place in the modding competition 2016, woot!

Really fun map! A bit too easy vs. the AI, since they tend to get stuck at times. Would love to see a true multiplayer version of this.

Thanks for the feedback! I found out about the lapcounter issue, shortly after uploading. It was working in the test track i made though, so it'll probably only need some tweaking.

Things i would really like to know are if the speed is fast enough, and if the track length is right (not too log or too short). Regarding the speed, if i would increase it furter, the AI paths and/or steering capabilities would need extra tweaking.

Multiplayer should be easier to do since you I need to keep the AI in mind(unless you want AI in your multiplayer), so more extreme terrain is not as much of a problem.

Very cool map, would love to see a more fleshed out version work in MP.
Tho it has some issue, first thing being the minimap. The minimap is currently useless, and I would sugest that you use the autopainter in MakeTRN to fix that.
The lap counter is also not working, so would be nice to see that fixed ;)
